TikTok introduces ‘Instant Page’
TikTok identifies that when it comes to driving people from an in-feed ad to a landing page, speed is key and that a slow loading journey can lead to high bounce rates.?
The aim of ‘TikTok Instant Page’ is to combat slow loading experiences ‘designed to streamline the customer journey’. TikTok go on to mention that Instant Page is a lightweight native landing page inside the application that is faster than standard mobile pages loading 11 times quicker.
The purpose of TikTok Instant Page:
TikTok says Instant Page is designed to fulfil all marketing requirements. Brands may use Instant Page to reach out to customers and engage them in purchases and conversations resulting in better campaign results.

Instagram introduces new feature scheduled live to users display profile
Instagram is always finding new ways to improve its platform and on 26th January, CEO Adam Mosseri shared a video on his Twitter explaining new features coming to the platform.?

Mosseri states that Instagram is focusing on building for teens and creators and in the spaces of video and messaging and these features are within those themes. The first feature improvement is within how users can schedule a live, Instagram are allowing users to add scheduled live streams to the display of their profiles so that followers know that there is a live video coming up. Adam Mosseri goes on further to explain that users will be able to subscribe to get reminded that a live is coming up, and creators will be able to schedule as many lives as they want.?

Snapchat introduces a new type of shopping lens feature
Snapchat has developed a new way to browse products through its camera, with a lens that seeks to personalise the shopping experience.?
Users of Snapchat are already able to use the platform to try on digital merchandise and make click-through purchases through the app. According to the site, users interact with its augmented reality (AR) features more than six billion times per day, with 93 percent of them interested in using the capabilities for AR shopping.
This high demand has pushed Snapchat to launch a new shopping lens that allows users to quickly and easily swipe through various products within the app. Price, colour, size and comparable items suggestions will all be shown, with brands such as Ultra Beauty and MAC Cosmetics already utilising this new lens feature for their very own products. Snapchat mentions that
"Snapchatters will be able to shop using even more of these Lenses made by brands they love."
