Digital Marketing and Its 3 Main Problems.

One thing That I have clearly understood over a long corporate puddle walk is, 'Clients are mentors of any organisation.'

Whoever said, 'Customer may be King, but, Client service is God' covered the product and service industry in one sentence.


Problem 1: Understanding Business.


A lot of digital agencies out there fail miserably at understanding the clients business and its industry completely with the utmost details and USPs.

And Thus resulting in an absolute failure in mapping the effective Target Audience and thus simultaneously failing at finding the client-specific buyer persona.


Problem 2: The Digital Marketing strategy and Its Maze.


Even though one has clearly understood the digital marketing requirements and heard the client thoroughly and you have designed the best possible digital strategy, follow-up branches of maze arise in the strategy that creates the possibility of beginning from the scratch and a lot of to and fro from the client.

  1. The budgeting of the digital strategy in a combination of service and advertisement.
  2. The strategy failing to explain 'What-How-When-Where' of the digital plan.
  3. The relay of creatives and approvals.


Problem 3: The Communication Gap.


One wise man once said that a long term relationship is that of giving and Taking and communication is only complete when two entities are exchanging a message.

And these two things are the biggest problems for brands. Up until now, all the communication was one way in the offline world. But Digital platforms have gotten the customers in the personal safety boxes of brands and a lot of companies fail at doing justice to this blessing thus turning the communication Gap into loss of loyal and/or potential customer.
