Digital Marketing Certificate
In September of this year I began the Digital Marketing Certificate in Munster Technological University led by Zahid Aslam and Stephen Ryan . Why did I decide to go back to college? I have been in the marketing industry since I graduated in 2019. As people will know in marketing, it's constantly changing and I love learning in different ways so I can keep up to date with the evolving industry. Another reason is I love meeting new people and wanted to meet like-minded individuals which I certainly did. Day one of the course both lecturers said you would learn more outside of the classroom than inside with the interaction of the group which certainly was the case. Someone like myself who knows a lot about marketing it was lovely to explore areas that I would not have delved into too much such as website development and SEO.
In my undergrad degree, I always loved the live cases and this was no different in this course working with two different and amazing businesses.
For our Social Media Live Case myself and my team worked with the lovely Lucy O'Donoghue . It was an absolute pleasure to work closely with Lucy on her social media platforms and provide a clear and easy to implement strategy for her social media platforms. As part of the assignment we did a content day which was really great to bring the strategy to life. It was pleasure to work with Catriona Horgan Olivia F. , Claire O' Donovan and Meg Walsh on this project.

Second live case was with the amazing Aoife McDonald - Dietitian where we worked on her Digital Marketing Strategy for the first six months of the year. It was great to bring all the learnings from the 15 weeks into this project and work with another incredible team of Meg Walsh, Hannah O' Beirne and Catriona Horgan .
The last 15 weeks have been very enjoyable and rewarding and certainly got a huge amount from it including new connections, increase in knowledge and friends for life. Such a great opportunity and so happy that I decided to do it.
