The Digital Lighthouse - December Newsletter 2024
When there's trust, anything is possible
I was nervous about the Best Companies awards earlier this month.
But as it turned out, we won even?more accolades this year, including:
What a haul!
These awards are important to me because, for one day a year, they give me a chance to stop worrying about all the things we want to do better and reflect on what makes Softwire truly special. And if I had to boil it down to one word, it would be trust.?
We hire smart people and trust them to do the right thing. In return, we expect everyone to be trustworthy, especially senior leadership, who work incredibly hard to communicate frequently and openly and remain receptive to feedback.
This dynamic leads to high levels of trust throughout the organisation, which allows us to focus our collective efforts on delivering great client results.
Indebted to our clients
But there’s another aspect of trust that sometimes gets overlooked. We are incredibly indebted to our clients for entrusting us with their most important, pressing, and challenging problems.?
Solving these problems and working with incredible people from all sectors and backgrounds to identify and implement the right solutions gives us so much satisfaction.
Without those opportunities for impact and growth, no amount of fantastic culture would keep the brightest and the best people in the business happy and fulfilled.
So, if you’ve trusted Softwire in the past, this award is for you. May we continue to repay that trust for many years to come!
