The Digital Insurance APAC 2024 was a fantastic experience! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us last week, June 26-27 at Hotel Alexandra, Hong Kong.

Our workshop, "How can Generative AI accelerate the digital transformation of insurance" was a full house. A big thanks to fellow speakers Simon Phipps , Yannick Even and Connie Leung for making it a success.

TDI Awards- APAC Regional Finals on July 4th

This week marks a significant milestone for TDI as we host our first regional finals for The World’s Digital Insurance Awards 2024 on July 4th. This is the 9th year of the awards

Witness groundbreaking innovations from insurers and insurtechs in the Asia-Pacific region and cast your vote for the Insurer Innovation Award and the Insurtech Innovation Award. The winners will advance to the global finals, where they will compete against the upcoming EMEA and Americas finalists in their respective categories.

GenAI - Some Stats

We have pulled together this infographic from 3 leading survey as we think it provides compelling evidence for why all insurers should start investing in GenAI - and the good news is that most are. However, It also highlights that many are rushing for "tech execution" and not investing early in learning and training to being everyone along - the 25% stat in the infographic indicates that some insurers are going to be missing opportunities and missing out on talent development and retention. This is particularly relevant for generative AI as much economic value wil be gained from personal use in addition to enterprise use.

To address this gap and to allow insurers to get benefits more quickly, TDI has launched our GenAI Explorer Program, a collaborative learning experience aimed at upskilling professionals and advancing generative AI in insurance. It is designed to be customized for different cohorts and for insurers at different stages of their Generative AI Journey.
