Digital Innovation meets Design at MDW '24
This year's Milano Design Week was highlighted by an innovative collaboration between In2real, Archiproducts Milano, and Studio Pepe, which blended augmented reality (AR) with groundbreaking design. The 'Aqua' experience at the Archiproducts showroom in Via Tortona 31 showcased this fusion perfectly.
INTERACTIVE AR FACEDE
Visitors experienced 'Aqua' through a transformative AR display on the showroom’s facade, turning it into a virtual waterfall with a unique design pattern by Studio Pepe. This AR activation, accessible via a QR code on a special postcard, also animated the facade image on the card itself, engaging viewers and bringing the Archiproducts 3D logo to life.
Inside the showroom, the innovation continued with videos featured in one of the exhibition halls, simulating the portholes of the cruise ship Eupheria, sponsored by Explora Journeys. These circular screens added a dynamic element to the space, further immersing visitors in the event's theme and enhancing the overall experience.
ENGAGING DIGITAL INTERACTIVITY
The success of this year's Milano Design Week underscores the significant impact of strategic partnerships in enhancing engagement and pioneering digital innovation. By collaborating with creative entities like Studio Pepe and sponsors like Explora Journeys, In2real and Archiproducts Milano have demonstrated the power of unity in transforming traditional design spaces into interactive, immersive environments. These partnerships not only set new benchmarks in the design industry but also pave the way for future innovations, ensuring that we remain at the cutting edge of technology and design.
