NICE has recently launched an evidence framework for Digital Health that aims to make it easier for innovators and commissioners to understand what good levels of evidence for digital healthcare technologies look like, while meeting the needs of the health and care system, patients, and users.
This work directly supports the relevant principles of the Department of Health and Social Care code of conduct for data-driven health and care technology, and has been created in collaboration with Public Health England, MedCity and DigitalHealth.London.
The standards aim to help digital health innovators understand how the NHS makes decisions and how the standards will be expected to produce for different types of digital technologies.

6 年Extremely important guidance in a usable document. Thanks for sharing, keep them coming. We cannot assume that innovators know about this before they start their journey. We don't know what we don't know.
