Does Digital Transformation create digital chaos? At times, this is how it feels for the individual: when I started to program websites in 1996, I was confronted with “I am not interested” and today I am confronted with an abundance of ideas, creativity, claims, and ownerships. For any need, there is a handful of digital tools and a competition of ideas - some succeed, some do not and finally some are still working and they look like they come from the digital graveyard of the 70s.
There is certainly a broad basis for the feeling of being overwhelmed and FOMO simultaneously in the digital sphere and even more when it comes to healthcare. Tech, Data, Analytics, and Operations are important pillars of all the challenges and changes around us. But these are all second to the people who need to understand, adapt and change to this ever-changing world. Would you agree?
Some of us may fear the changes, some of us may ignore them, some of us may get stuck, and some of us may just work on these changes and welcome all the new ideas and innovations. This new edition of Digital&Health includes topics such as digital health, changes in nursing practice, AI in healthcare, ethical considerations for AI, new payment models etc. I tried to carefully select some new reading recommendations for you, which show the breadth and depth of Digital & Health.
Happy reading.

1 年From making websites in '96 to today, you've seen how the internet has grown everywhere. I can imagine thats a lot to handle. While tech and data are important, it's clear leadership and putting people first that truly makes the difference. It's all about using tech wisely and not getting lost in it.
