Digital Delights: A Tale of Joyful Learning in the Modern Montessori School, Rampur UP

In 2023, Nagar Palika Parishad, Rampur UP, decided to bring new ways of learning to the students and teachers of the school, built in the historical building of Rampur, Modern Montessori School. The vision was to make teaching/learning engaging and joyful. To achieve this, they set up a smart class and digital library in the school.

Throughout the implementation and training phase, teachers exhibited remarkable enthusiasm and wholeheartedly engaged in the training sessions aimed at utilizing iPrep both in smart classrooms and on tablets within the digital library. Witnessing their keen interest and their recognition of the importance of an ICT lab in schools was truly inspiring. Their enthusiasm was not only evident during the training sessions but also became apparent to our team members through their day-to-day conversations on usage, sharing of TabLab timetable, and more.

The students and teachers took a big chart and drew a colorful timetable for the digital library, which they fondly called "TabLab." This way, everyone could have their own time to explore and learn in their own special way. The efforts of the students and teachers amazed everyone. They were so enthusiastic about learning that they even chose lessons they would learn in every period and then practice on their own and asked questions to clear their doubts. Digital Learning solutions in schools has created joyful learning environments where students and teachers are happily using iPrep in smart class and on tablets in different ways.

The story of the Modern Montessori School in Rampur is an inspiring example for people working towards social sector initiatives. It showed how with a little bit of innovation and a lot of enthusiasm, learning could become engaging and joyful. The students and teachers showed that technology could be a wonderful tool for education, making lessons come alive in a whole new way.
