So, I need some questions answered.

Is there a misconception among charities that treating brand-building and performance marketing (ROI-focused campaigns) as separate functions is the best way forward? When in reality, they are two sides of the same coin, each boosting each other's abilities.

Does your charity or nonprofit look at at long-term brand building alongside short-term performance? ( ROI marketing)

Do charities put as much time into building donor relationships as they do growing the charities brand?

Google Analytics 4 Update

Thank you Julius Fedorovicius .. You will now be able to filter standard GA4 reports based on the Event Name, without workarounds. Your property may not have it but keep a look out.

UTM parameters have been around a long time so here are some best practises.

• GA4 is case sensitive, so if you use both Facebook and facebook in a utm_source parameter, that traffic will not be grouped together. Use lowercase and stick to it.
• Don't use spaces. I would recommend replacing any spaces with the + symbol, which turns into a space in the GA4 interface. It’s fine to use dashes or underscores as well, whatever works best for you!
• Be consistent. Do you use a UTM tagging spreadsheet so to make sure that you and everyone on your team is on the same page about what UTM parameters to use.
• Lastly, don't make URLs too long. They have a limit of 2048 characters so make sure that your URL with your UTMs added on isn’t longer than that!
