Those who think that the new field of “digital biomarkers” may benefit from a little more attention on learning how to define quality, patient value and good science while the area is still emerging – check out this new OpenScience community tool – not just another journal, of course! Laurenz and his team are trying to find the right balance between science, medicine, engineering etc., as this is highly interdisciplinary, and full of interesting convergence. Your feedback can help them to make it a truly community-enabling tool with all the creativity, listening and values it will need to succeed.
