#thedap is an Art Project to push for creativity in under 10 mins. It is an Art Diary where the artist → Me?? takes 10 minutes and share through painting his daily rainbow of emotions. The creation process of each piece of Art is broadcasted live on youtube et listed as NFT on Rarible.
I believe that art is life. It is the expression of the soul. Without talking, from the minute a child knows how to use his hand, he doodles with anything on his small little digit. Art has been a therapy for me during the covid lockdown. It is this deep side of me that words sometimes cannot describe. It is that universal part of me that I want to share with everyone.
The Covid crisis, with its confinement in March 2020, awakened in me the envy of painting, which I had not done for more than 10 years.
I am Hilarion, an artist who has art in his DNA. I actually come from an artist family of which I represent the 3rd generation.
The Pseudonym Hilarion that I use is the first name of my grandfather, who had a positive influence on my life.
My grandfather did classical African art, and my father was interested in modernism and the abstract, and I want to add a dose of digital to that.
Art in the digital age, like a poet, the artist sketches his emotions through figures and shapes, “The DAP” is the personal diary of an artist who shares his creative process with you on a daily basis through his rainbow of emotions.

This extract of the Poem “Matter and Spirit”, written by my grandfather, marked me and never ceased to make me think. For me, art is a way to express that part of us that words cannot describe. It is the raw expression of our deep self. I speak of art as an outlet for our emotions. Without rules, just follow the movement of your hands and let yourself be guided by the Spirits.
I hope you will enjoy the journey I will be going with you for one year, maybe more I don’t know yet.
