It is known that in Ukraine digestate is also used as a product in biogas production. This process is called biogas production, and its main purpose is to produce energy from organic waste, such as animal and plant waste.

Digestate is a nutrient-rich residue that remains after the fermentation process of biomass used to produce biogas. This product consists of organic and inorganic components such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, trace elements and other substances necessary for plant growth.

However, production of biogas and use of digestate in Ukraine are regulated by certain laws. For example, main law which regulates production of biogas and use of digestate is "Law of Ukraine about alternative energy sources" from 20.02.2003 № 555-IV.

In addition, there are other laws and regulations that regulate the use of digestate in Ukraine. For example, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine has developed "Rules of digestate use", which establish the order of storage, transportation and use of digestate.

Also, in order to use digestate in agriculture, it is necessary to comply with the norms of its content in the soil, established by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

In general, the use of digestate in the production of biogas in Ukraine is an important step towards the development of alternative energy sources and sustainable development. Biogas production not only allows to get energy from organic waste, but also reduces the amount of waste that can pollute the environment.

However, in order for biogas production and the use of digestate to be more widespread and effective, it is necessary to create a more favorable environment for the development of this industry. For example, state agencies can provide financial support for the construction and renovation of biogas plants, and create more favorable conditions for the sale of electricity from biogas.

Also, it is necessary to conduct more information work about the benefits and possibilities of using biogas and digestate, so that more agricultural enterprises and farms learn about the possibilities of using these products and start using them.

In general, the use of digestate in biogas production is an important step towards the development of sustainable production and energy in Ukraine. However, in order to develop this industry more effectively, it is necessary to be more active in informing and supporting agricultural enterprises and farms, as well as to create more favorable conditions for the development of biogas production in general.
