Digest #4: AI news + WE ARE HIRING ?
This week’s roundup is mainly about AI developments and companies that go with them.?? I won't post cool ads for the upcoming Christmas. However there's one more big event I unfortunately couldn’t miss: the election. Not for the hype, I promise.
?? NOT a lyrical digression: Scale Final is hiring! ?? WHO: Head of PBN and Middle+Fullstack Developer.
Our future Head of PBN, this is a calling for you: If you are an experienced and passionate SEO, have a proven expertise in managing large PBN networks and want to lead a dynamic team to new heights, then we want to hear from you!
Our future Middle+ Fullstack Developer (Wordpress, JS, PHP, HTML), this is a vocation for you: If you're all about technology, have a product-oriented mindset and a knack for mentoring younger developers, we want to hear from you!
We will publish all the details about the jobs next week. Stay tuned!
This little announcement is just for our early birds. ??

?? And now for this week's hot news:
1.Google delights us again. With its new experimental education tool - Learn About - an interactive AI assistant that tailors knowledge to your level of understanding. ?? The tool allows users to freely ask questions, upload their own learning content and explore curated topics - from everyday questions to in-depth academic subjects. How cool is that?
2.And now to OpenAI. As you may have noticed, there have been some updates to ChatGPT recently. The AI assistant can now independently (without your prompting) search for relevant information on the internet and provide answers with links to sources. Special attention is paid to working with news, weather, sports results, stock market prices and maps. However, this does not work flawlessly, ?? because it also carries out the search when you don’t want it to.
2.1 But my personal favorite news regarding OpenAI, and even the best in this digest, is a different one: OpenAI just spent more than 10 million dollars on a URL! The simple URL chat.com now redirects to ChatGPT. The former owner sold it to OpenAI to buy shares in the company. Why the drop, you ask? OpenAI is all about rebranding for the upcoming, more “sane" models. ??
3. The must-have feature for the streaming service ?? . Amazon Prime Video has introduced a new feature called X-Ray Recaps, which uses AI to summarize episodes or entire seasons of a series. Amazon's Bedrock service and custom AI models analyze subtitles and key plot events. No more tedious editing, and all sides benefit. ?
4. Adweek reports on the bold marketing tactics behind Trump’s return. To cut this publication some slack: Adweek isn't saying that marketing tactics are responsible for Trump’s victory. But isn’t the wording of this news a bit of an exaggeration? Or is it just hype that can’t be kept quiet about? You tell me. ?? I won’t go into details, just follow the link and dive into the “master class in direct communication and unconventional tactics.”
