Differentiated connectivity: A new era of personalized network experiences
Ericsson Networks
Our purpose is to create connections that make the unimaginable possible. #ImaginePossible
In this edition, we dig deeper into a game-changing topic that is set to revolutionize the way we experience connectivity – Differentiated connectivity.?
Introducing the Differentiated Connectivity Handbook?
We are excited to introduce the Differentiated Connectivity Handbook, a comprehensive guide crafted to empower service providers to deliver unparalleled connectivity solutions. This handbook is designed to enhance customer experiences by providing a step-by-step approach to implementing and scaling differentiated connectivity. With the release of each chapter, service providers will gain insights and strategies that showcase tangible benefits for their customers, ensuring a seamless and superior network experience tailored to their specific needs.?
Why differentiated connectivity??
In today's fast-paced digital world, consumers and enterprises expect more from their connectivity. For instance, a financial services company might require ultra-reliable, low-latency connections for real-time trading applications, while a streaming service provider needs high-bandwidth connectivity to deliver seamless 4K video content to its users. The traditional “best-effort” connectivity model is no longer sufficient to meet the diverse and demanding requirements of modern applications. Differentiated connectivity offers a solution by providing a set of capabilities and end-to-end resources on a 5G standalone (SA) network, enabling service providers to deliver unique and premium experiences tailored to specific needs.?
The Journey Begins: First Chapter Release?
The first chapter of the Differentiated Connectivity Handbook outlines our industry-proven blueprint for transforming 5G SA networks into a launchpad for personalized and profitable user experiences. This chapter provides a step-by-step approach to exploring small-scale differentiated connectivity deployments, transitioning to wider areas, and ultimately monetizing these capabilities.?
Key highlights from the first chapter:?

4 个月Very good insights! Although its undisputable that unlocking full 5G potential and consequently monetization require CSPs to go beyond connectivity. It is also true that to do so, ?opportunities on new revenue streams ?should be worked from Use case (problem solving centric approach) back to the technology. Collaboration in an Open and inclusive Ecosystem with other industries, society and even "competitors" will be crucial to succeed.
