Marketing, even from medieval times, tried to run along with the newest trends in the world. When the world became digital it is obvious for marketing to stay par by transforming into digital marketing. ‘Be on top’ is a common phrase used to mention success or the best. It is applicable in the case of search engines also. When a person searches for a product in a search engine, a list of results is displayed in front of him/her. Our brain automatically considers the top of the list as a synonym to success or best. So the website at the top will get more attention and more chances for marketing. Search Engine Optimization is an organic method of promotion, used to push a website to the top of the list. It can be done by onsite or off-page operations.

CONTENT MARKETING

Words can attract minds, mobilize crowds and of course sell a product. However good a product is, it may remain on the shelf, if not properly introduced among folks. That is where content marketing steps in. Content with proper keywords, catchy phrases and simple explanation of products/services could attract a crowd. There are numerous ways to present content. It can be done through blogs, social media, videos, and many other platforms.

It is one of the easiest ways of marketing. Sending an email with good content explaining about major features of the product can make immediate results sometimes. In email marketing, there is a window of opportunity to start an immediate conversation with the target audience.

Social Medias like Facebook has 2 billion users, which is more than the total population of some countries. More viewers clearly mean more exposure and more chances for marketing. Social media like Facebook are providing a versatile platform, where we can upload content, pictures, audios, and videos. This makes social media marketing one of the best strategies in digital marketing.

It is a common phrase in English that ‘a picture is worth 1000 words’. Then imagine what a video can do. When compared to other strategies video production can be expensive, but can make more impact on target audiences.

A person checking a website doesn’t mean he/she is buying. A person would click the purchase button only if he/she is convinced about the features of that product, the reliability of the company producing/marketing it, brand names, logos, and even colors can attract people. If the website is not attractive or user-friendly, then SEO is going to make no change at all. Attractive and user-friendly website design is one of the factors that convince audiences to buy the product.

It is one of the paid strategies in the digital marketing world. Unlike SEO which is an organic method, PPC is using space from a publisher for placing our ad and for each click on the ad, we have to pay the publisher.

AFFILIATE MARKETING

Affiliate marketing is the promotion of our website through other individual’s spaces like a social media page. For every sale happening through his/her space, we have to give a commission.
