I invite you to have a look at our recent open access publication in Archaeometry on precise nanoscale observations of the coloring matter of the decoration of the Bull Rotunda (Rotonde des Taureaux), Lascaux cave: https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/share/5QTMPBC8RD7GSD4NPEXC?target=10.1111/arcm.12960

These findings are opening up interesting perspectives in terms of interpretation of the Palaeolithic narrative represented in this famous hall.
