A DIFFERENT HIVE MIND FOR ADDED EFFICIENCY
It’s a well-matched interaction: Living bionics, implemented by very different protagonists than the other producers of bionic high-tech concepts use for the globally renowned ZIEHL-ABEGG fans from the Royal League. An entire beehive guided by its powerful queen renders impressive services for this. However, these are services of a very different kind. The busy bees given a new home on the factory premises in Kupferzell by the management of ZIEHL-ABEGG seem to be very comfortable in their newly founded “ZApilot” bee station out in the natural environment around ZIEHL-ABEGG.
The idea of starting the “ZApilot” bee station came from the “ZApilot” fan of the same name, the air pilot that led to the concept for the basics of flow-optimised fan suspension based on detailed studies of honeycombs and the resulting bionic findings.
