Are there different forms of PSA technology?

Onsite Membrane/PSA Nitrogen Systems, Medical Oxygen Solutions, and Green Hydrogen Technology
The answer is: YES
PSA is also known as pressure swing adsorption nitrogen production technology. It is the most common technical way to produce nitrogen. Two adsorption towers filled with adsorbent (also known as CMS) work alternately to obtain qualified nitrogen. Therefore, how to fill and compress the adsorbent becomes particularly important.
In the nitrogen generator industry, there are usually two technical ways to design the adsorption tower, one is called air tank compression technology, and the other is called flange compression technology.
Air tank compression technology
Advantage: less compressed air consumption.
Disadvantages: The maintenance is cumbersome. The initial debugging equipment needs to add adsorbent, which needs to be added once a month. After the equipment is stable, the adsorption tower needs to be opened every year to add adsorbent.
Flange compression technology
Disadvantage: more compressed air consumption.
Advantages: simple maintenance. Once completed in the factory assembling, there is no need for any maintenance work to add adsorbents.
