Difference between rail Transshipment and rail Transit
?? Rail Transshipment : When the final destination of goods transported from one country is another country. Then the products can reach the borders of their own country through rail. But whenever the goods reach the border of another country then the goods have to be transferred in the freight rail of that country. which will then proceed to the final destination. Basically this process is called rail transshipment?
Consequence : If transshipment system is used then no vehicle from other country can directly enter another country. As a result, the security system will remain intact.?
?? Rail Transit : When a country reaches a certain point in its own country by rail with permission to use the internal land of another country. Then that process is called rail transit.
Consequence : The railways of the country which has got the rail transit permit can enter another country by rail whenever they need without any hindrance. As a result, the security system of the country allowing rail transit will be slightly compromised.
