The Difference Between PERT And PEX Floor Heating Pipe
1. PEX floor heating pipes can be used for floor radiant heating, including PEXa and PEXb.
The advantage contains good low-temperature toughness, strong stress crack resistance, creep resistance, and good heat resistance. It is widely used in floor heating pipes.
The disadvantage is that waste materials cannot be recycled. Connected with copper pipe fittings, it is easy to leak water after long-term use. once water leakage occurs, all the concealed works have to be removed and reinstalled, resulting in great losses.
2. PERT Pipe does not need to be cross-linking and control the degree of cross-linking and cross-linking uniformity. The product quality is easy to control, and there are fewer production quality defects, so it is easier to produce qualified pipes, but it is difficult to control the PEX process. For example, the control of the proportion of auxiliary materials, temperature, and speed will directly affect the high, low, and uniformity of the crosslinking degree. Too low cross-linking will result in poor heat resistance; too high will make the pipe brittle.
