The production process of non-woven needle-punched geotextile mainly includes the following steps:

1. Raw material preparation: Select suitable fiber raw materials, such as polyester fiber, polypropylene fiber, etc.

2. Opening and mixing: Open the fibers and mix them thoroughly.

3. Combing into a net: Comb the fibers into a uniform fiber net through a carding machine.

4. Needle punching reinforcement: Use a barbed needle to repeatedly puncture the fiber net so that the fibers are entangled and embraced with each other, thereby forming a geotextile with a certain strength.

The main types of non-woven needle-punched geotextiles are filament needle-punched geotextiles and short-filament needle-punched geotextiles.

It is mainly used for the following projects and purposes:

1. Water conservancy projects: such as dams, slope protection, channel anti-seepage, etc.

2. Highway and railway projects: used for soft foundation treatment, roadbed reinforcement, slope protection, etc.

The spunbond method is also known as the melt spinning method. It uses chemical fiber spinning. During the polymer spinning process, the extruded melt filaments are cooled by quenched air, so that the filaments are stretched by the stretching air flow during the cooling process to form continuous filaments, which are then formed into a web on the condensing curtain and laid on the forming curtain. After being processed by the consolidation device, spunbond nonwoven fabrics are formed. This method is a one-step nonwoven fabric technology.
