The Freshness Algorithm and Query Deserves Freshness are the key factors Google considers when deciding whether to display fresh information in its search results.
A broad algorithm called the Freshness algorithm analyses all of the information on the web to identify which pieces are most likely to be recent. Whether a user is looking for news, photographs, or videos, the same algorithm is applied.
A more specialized algorithm called Query Deserves Freshness analyses a specific search type and predicts which results are most likely to be recent for that sort of search. For instance, Query Deserves Freshness is more likely to present results from published articles if you're looking for information about a recent event.
While both algorithms are crucial for displaying recent information in search results, they function differently. While Query Deserves Freshness is more focused, the Freshness algorithm is more generic.
