A bridge is a structure which facilitates communication route for carrying roads, railway traffic across an obstruction with or without water. The span of a bridge is always greater than six meters between abutments.
While on the other hand, culverts are small structures or bridges carrying a stream or open drain under a road or railway track with span less than or equal to six meters.
