The difference and application of ASTM A36 and AH36 steel, A36 VS AH36?

1. Differences in chemical composition

2. Differences in mechanical properties

The yield strength of AH36 is greater than or equal to 355MPa, and the tensile strength is between 490MPa and 630MPa. Therefore, AH36 has higher strength and hardness and is suitable for occasions with higher load bearing and higher wear resistance requirements.

3. Differences in application fields

ASTM A36 is commonly used in riveted, bolted and welded structures for bridges and buildings, and is also commonly used in the machinery manufacturing industry. 5. Selection Principles

When selecting ASTM A36 and AH36 steel, consideration should be given to specific usage conditions and needs.
