Did You Read the Overpacked PowerPoint Slides?

Did You Read the Overpacked PowerPoint Slides?

What a freaking relief!?

A PowerPoint deck at a networking luncheon that I LOVED!?

Isn't it a rarity when you thoroughly enjoy the slides??

Usually, they're "text heavy" and impossible to read.

Glasses don't help.?

Then the speaker says: "This is hard to read," or "We can skip over this..."

Oy.

That's when I notice people inconspicuously on their phones.

You know, like a 6th grader afraid of being caught by the teacher.?

??So...what is the BEST way to share info on a slide deck??

The same exact way sharp communicators (who win bids) speak in shortlisted meetings. ??

They know what to include and what to leave out.?

  • They are concise, not passive-aggressive.
  • They choose their words carefully.?
  • They tell intriguing stories and avoid too many stats.
  • They have a light, casual sense about themselves. (We call it humility and confidence.)?

Your slide deck should FEEL the same way.?

??A few essential words or a relevant phrase

??An image to support the message

??A branded color scheme with a font that's easy on the eyeballs.?

When you create a slide deck for a shortlist meeting or presentation, know that YOU are the message.?

That's how you develop business.

If the tech craps out, can YOU deliver engaging material??

No one shows up giddy to see the slides.

Especially the ones overloaded with too many words.?

Ready to be a clear, confident communicator so you easily close more clients? Drop me a note. It's what I do. (Did I mention clients get a 400-700% ROI???)

Excellence in PowerPoint is an undiscovered and under-appreciated art form.
