*?After conducting a survey of lead pipes in the US, the NRDC estimates that there is a range of 9.7 - 12.8 million pipes that are, or may be, lead, spread across all 50 states, including those that claim to have none.


* The UK has been experiencing prolonged periods of drought after wet winters since 2022 causing the porous rock beneath vast parts of the southeast of England, including London, ?to move more than usual, cracking or tilting many of the city’s historical homes in the plushest neighborhoods. The damage has triggered the highest insurance payout in almost two decades, with experts warning that it could get worse. The London clay, the type of soil that covers most of these areas can shrink and swell a lot. The wetter it gets, the more it swells and expands and the drier it gets, the more it shrinks and cracks. * The NAR reports that 66% of their members are women. But the industry is also structured so that 90% of agents are not actually employees of the agencies they work with. They are independent contractors, which means they are not protected under Title VII — the federal law that prohibits discrimination and sexual harassment in the workplace.

1. North Carolina (#1 for workforce, #3 for economy, #6 for access to capital)

2. Virginia (great universities, top education system and access to capital)

3. Tennessee (outstanding infrastructure with 107 million people within 1 day's drive, #3 for education, especially community colleges)

4. Georgia. (Best infrastructure, solid economy and healthy housing market)

5. Minnesota (solid infrastructure, growing semiconductor/tech!)....and.... the Most Improved State in 2023 is .....New Jersey to #19, up from #42!? Texas and California tied for #1 for access to capital.? (CNBC)
