$888 per month is all it costs to market you and your firm on LinkedIn to get you new clients or a new job. I am "The Only CEO with a Mohawk" and Singaporean entrepreneur with 2,200+ LinkedIn Recommendations.
Did you know that if you move countries then you need to build up your local followers and this is why:
LinkedIn primarily shows your content to 1) people in your locality i.e. where you say you live on your LinkedIn not where your experience says you are and 2) where people who engage with your posts live.
Therefore to gain the maximum amount of engagement you need your content to be seen by as many local people as possible.
If you move to another country most of your followers and connections will be in the previous country who will no longer see your content even if they have previously liked it or commented. That positive effect diminishes over time.?
You therefore need to be creating content that will go viral locally to get more local followers plus you should be reaching out to local people who are your target audience to connect if they have engaged with your content or view your profile or send you a connection.
LinkedIn will start to show you to more people in your new locality too to connect but that takes time.
If people in your network comment or like then their followers also see your content but the initial engagement needs to happen for that to occur.
