Hi everyone.
Here we are again, a new week with a whole list of new challenges!
We cannot wait to get the weekend over to start working each week - Mondays are Fundays for us as we just love what we do and every day is new and different.
Late last week we published the podcast that we did with TopFruit. Please view it here on Youtube and listen to it here on your favorite podcast service.
Here is a quick summary of the podcast:
TopFruit is going Nuts! TopFruit is expanding its variety of offerings to include Treenuts.
TopFruit is a South African Intellectual Property company that has been in the fruit industry for 40 years, managing IPs for high-quality apples, pears, and stone fruit, as well as blueberries and kiwifruit. The company's founders recognized a need to bring in new varieties of apples and pears that were not available in South Africa. They established a private company to do this, and although this initially caused controversy in the industry, they were successful with this mission. Over time TopFruit's model changed from only considering trees, with most of the breeders being state institutions, to including private breeders and looking for different models and different ways to commercialize intellectual property. TopFruit recognized the importance of branding and worked hard to create a successful brand that is recognized by consumers worldwide. One of the well-known brands that TopFruit is associated with is Pink Lady? Europe . TopFruit continues to expand its product line and build long-term relationships with growers and partners. In response to the rapid growth in demand for nuts as a significant alternative source of protein, the company has recently also expanded its product line to include nuts. The company for the nut extension is called the TopNutGroup

We can not believe how fast this year is going. Here we are, in the middle of March 2023!
We want to wish the Citrus Growers Association of Southern Africa all the best with their summit this week. It's the first time since 2019 that they are showcasing this again. We really wish that we could have been there this year but unfortunately, we have had other commitments already.
We have some exciting things that will be published soon, so please subscribe if you have not done so already, and also please feel free to share this with everyone that you think might find this interesting.
To end this one off, I would just like to do a small marketing plug for my wife, Karin Kirsten 's leather company, For Love and Leather. Seeing that travel is in full swing again, she has some amazing leather bags for travelers. Go and check it out and if you are in the market for something like this, let us know.
Thanks for reading
