Today we just wanted to share a little example of how no-one is perfect (even we make mistakes sometimes) plus to demonstrate how the right messaging to your audience is so important.

A little while ago we introduced a?Free Brand Audit. It was signposted as?a online questionnaire designed to help businesses gain insights into their brand's performance. You as the brand owner would fill it out and then we got back to you with our thoughts on the current state of your brand and some tips to help improve it.
We were pleased, the tech worked and we felt everyone would jump at the chance to get our advice... however?despite the value packed within, we noticed an unexpected silence, it was pretty deafening actually.. very?few completed the audit, leaving us slightly puzzled.
After checking the set up, we took a step back to reassess our approach. And then we realised that the term "audit" perhaps didn't resonate as we hoped. It carried a weight, an unintended formality that might have overshadowed our message of support and growth. Perhaps it just didn't sit well and made people think of accountants!
So, we pivoted. The 'Free Brand Audit' evolved into the 'Free Brand Health Check'. More than a name change, we transformed our tone to one that's more inviting, more in tune with our brand and?the encouragement our community needs. This wasn't just a design change; it was a realignment of our messaging to match the warmth and support at the heart of Midnight Blue.
I'm so pleased to say that the transformation worked. Our inbox has been inundated?with responses and the conversations that followed have been great! More importantly, these conversations have converted into meaningful partnerships, helping businesses to not just navigate their branding challenges but to succeed amidst them.
