Did we just unleash SkyNet?!
Main Street Banking: A Podcast For Community Bankers
A podcast for community bankers. Serving the industry with information that is informative, entertaining, and relevant.
Hopefully, by now, you've listened to this week's podcast. The episode is part of an experiment I wanted to try out and bring some light to a conversation that's happening all over LinkedIn and other places...what do we do with AI (more specifically ChatGPT)? How will this impact banks? What does this mean for marketers or any sort of professional?
So, let's put out a real example of some content and see what happens!
As you know (if you listened to the podcast), I had ChatGPT write the entire script. The only part of myself that I put into it was my voice with the same inflections (and screw-ups) that normally accompany a Main Street Banking episode. Honestly, I really wanted to do some deep fake voicing with it as well for laughs...but let's keep the experiment simple and with only one variable. However, don't be surprised if Tom Cruise or Christopher Walken don't make a "guest appearance" one day!
What I'd like to do is this. For Part 2 next week, I'd like to share your thoughts on the episode as well as my own. What did you like? What didn't you like? As a consumer of content, how did it strike you? How can you see this being used...if at all? Is this something you can see growing or is this a fad?
Put your comments on the show's LinkedIn page so that others can join the conversation as well. And, more importantly, thanks for playing along with this...here's hoping we get some discussions going on this pertinent topic.
And as always...from Memphis, TN...the home of banking, blues, and BBQ...thanks for joining us!

2 年Wow....what a world we are jumping into. It was very interesting. It struck me as an essay that a high school senior might write if given the assignment. The content was accurate and the language was appropriate, but generally not a very "deep" discussion. That being said, we know it's only going to get better. How much longer before it starts to form "opinions"?
