DID I MAKE A DIFFERENCE

BILL ANDERSON AND ROB CROSBY WROTE A SONG FOR THE OAK RIDGE BOYS FOR OUR "FRONT ROW SEATS" ALBUM A FEW YEARS AGO. LAST YEAR, WE WERE WORKING IN PARIS, TEXAS, AND OUR LOCAL PROMOTER, RONNIE NUTT, CALLED US AND ASKED US IF WE COULD PULL THAT SONG OUT OF OUR CATALOG AND PERFORM IT AT OUR SHOW....THE THEM OF OUR SHOW WAS "MAKE A DIFFERENCE" AND HIS CHURCH WAS ADOPTING THAT AS THEIR MISSION.....AT TWO RECENT CONCERTS WE WERE ABLE TO RAISE AND DONATE APROX. $100,000, TO THE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB IN PARIS, TEXAS.....RONNIE'S CHURCH WANTED TO CONTINUE THIS ACT OF GIVING....TODAY, I GOD A SHORT LIST OF SOME OF THE THINGS THAT RONNIE AND HIS CHURCH HAVE DONE IN THE LAST YEAR....I WAS JUST BLOWN AWAY WHEN I READ THIS AND WANTED TO SHARE WITH YOU.....

Since you left Paris a year ago dedicating

your song “Did I Make A Difference “

Our Minister Barry Loving and our Church ?? Members

took your challenge and said we will be a Make A Difference Church to our community and hoped you would take that challenge message through your nightly concerts over the ???? USA and you have and no telling how much good you have created in our world.

Here is just a few of the things we have done in Duane’s home area to Make A Difference.

We plan to continue making a positive difference.

Providing funds to The Dream Center Men’s Drug Rehab Center in Deport, Texas,

Purchase paint for Salvation Army renovation,

Provide Christmas Gifts for Children whose parents are incarcerated,

Thanksgiving and Christmas Food Baskets for the needy,

Support of Goodland Boys Academy with funds and volunteer labor ,

Supporting local Boy Scouts ,

Support to local school cheerleader groups,

Starting feeding homeless at City Square first Saturday of each month,

Motivational Speaker for Area Athletes and

Coaches annually,

Furnished Bounce Houses and Slides and Provided Food for End of School Fun Day for Local Boy’s and Girl’s

Club ,

Gave Boy’s and Girl’s Club a van,

Gave Boy’s and Girl’s

Club 160 chairs,

Furnished Be Kind and Make A Difference bracelets to hundreds of local people and the Oak Ridge Boys to wear around the USA

facility outdoors open for public use,

Held Youth Fun Day at Church hosting area youth,

Hosting Emaus groups monthly,

Funds for Jim and Alma Holbert Scholarships for Graduates of First Christian Church
