Did Dems Stage a Kamala Coup Against Democracy?

Considering the endless Democratic narrative that reelecting former President Donald Trump would constitute a threat to democracy, is it just possible that their installation of Vice President Kamala Harris who, against all norms, has never won a single delegate vote as their 2024 candidate puts democracy in similar peril?
As reported by the New York Post , an unidentified source close to the Biden family charges that a successful “palace coup” truly occurred to remove and replace Joe as their standard bearer who was badly floundering in the polls.
According to the insider, operatives at the very highest levels of the Democratic Party threatened to forcibly remove the president from office using the 25th Amendment of the Constitution by which the vice president and cabinet can force him to step down by declaring him unfit to serve.
Biden stubbornly and angrily fought the ultimatum “every step of the way.”
The source said that part of the "elaborate" strategy to remove Biden from the race was a set-up to convince Democrats that he couldn’t run by allowing him to debate Trump on live TV.
When Biden finally agreed under pressure to step down, he immediately endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic candidate for president, whereas not all party power players agreed.
The source said that some argued that Democratic delegates should instead be strongly encouraged to back Arizona senator and former astronaut Mark Kelly for president at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago in August.
Whereas former President Barack Obama was originally a notable member of the group of holdouts from endorsing Harris, according to The Washington Post he had nevertheless reportedly told allies he thought Biden had little choice but to bail out and save face, both for himself and for the Democratic Party.
The tipping point in Biden’s decision reportedly came when Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif,, who has tight connections to powerful party donors along with a close allies former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi , D-Calif.,?and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y.,?signaled that a ticket with Biden at the top could have a catastrophic effect on down-ballot Democratic candidates for Congress.
The New York Times cited Obama as the “unseen but clearly felt presence” which lent a “Shakespearean quality” to the drama that culminated in Biden’s decision to take himself out of the 2024 presidential contest.
Biden was reportedly upset about Obama’s role in orchestrating the campaign to keep him off the ticket. After all, he had previously done so before in 2015 when his former boss skipped over him and backed Hillary Clinton.
Biden reportedly felt betrayed , believing that but for Obama’s intervention against him, he would have won that earlier race as well.
Wall Street Journal columnist William McGurn theorizes that had key Democratic operatives such as Obama and Pelosi intervened to ratchet up pressure upon Joe to step aside much earlier — well before the primaries began — it would have enabled the party to vet and promote a stronger alternate nominee who would draw greater donor and voter support.

Although Obama isn’t known to have directly told Biden to step down, a former Biden aid reportedly put it this way : “Obama already used that chit in 2016 when his team lobbied him against running. You don’t get to do that more than once.”
“Instead,” McGurn points out, “they opted to gaslight the American people about Mr. Biden’s health and savaged the one Democrat who dared mention it — Rep. Dean Phillips, who challenged the president in the Democratic primaries.”
During a January New Hampshire campaign rally, Phillips summed up his party’s duplicity in acknowledging Biden’s decline in private, but pretending he’s fine in public. He told the crowd : “His poll numbers are declining. People all over the country are saying they don’t think he should run again. We were having these conversations quietly. But when the cameras came on, it was ‘ridin’ with Biden.’”
As reported by Politico, recently anticipating that Biden might drop out with presumed entitlement heiress Kamala Harris stepping in, Analytics company BlueLabs surveyed more than 15,000 likely Democratic voters across seven critical battleground states to determine who —?including the vice president — would likely fare best compared against a Biden candidacy.
The top four alternative candidates who each outpaced Biden by roughly 3 points, were U.S. Sen.?Mark Kelly from Arizona, Maryland Gov.?Wes Moore, Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, and Michigan Gov.?Gretchen Whitmer.
Kamala came in fifth among those comparative unknowns.
A big question remains that if an inner circle of conspirators truly threatened to use the 25th Amendment to remove Biden — an action initiated by the vice president — was Kamala involved in this coup from the beginning?
And didn’t Kamala repeatedly assure us that Joe was a mental and physical powerhouse?
About an hour after the president’s announcement to step down, the Make America Great Again super PAC posted a 30-second TV ad saying “Kamala was in on it” that features President Biden falling on the ground and stumbling on the steps of Air Force One.
Vice President Haris is heard in the background assuring everyone Biden was “tireless” and “vibrant” and in “good shape.”
In any case, they could never have pulled off this Kamala caper without compliant media complicity.
Together, they hypocritically undermined their promise to “save democracy” from the threat of another Trump presidency by launching an undemocratic coup to dump and replace their own party leader.
