Did that ad work? The simple question is the Holy Grail of digital marketing and Ad words.

Google is aiming to help companies find that blessed vessel with a new service set to debut at its annual Marketing. Google aims to provide better platform to track the results across different channels from smartphones to desktop.

Prospects looking to buy interact with companies in multiple interactions -- search, display network, apps, websites, video ads and not to mention other kinds of ads and in-store visits. The way we measure how people are influenced are limited. We lose the thread over different marketing channels and people switching between devices.

Google Attribution has integrated several Ad words services such as Google Anaylitics and DoubleClick Search system for its advertising platform to provide a complete picture.


 Google said, Attribution allows marketers to analyses what it calls data driven attribution.This will allow marketers to analyse conversion data to calculate contribution from each step.
