A Year of Surprises and Confirmations?

We won’t fully know if some predictions came to pass until 2023 comes to a close. For example, we won’t know if 2023 revenue surpassed 2019 until new reports are published. However, we can undoubtedly say that this year presented unprecedented challenges and inspiring triumphs in the trade show industry. ?

For the most part, our prediction that big industry trade shows will expand in attendance and space appears to have been right on the nose. But there were some unfortunate surprises. The?permanent closure of E3, one of the gaming industry’s biggest in-person events, being the greatest.??

It’s clear that not all industries are leveraging trade shows in the same ways as before. From increasing virtual platforms to shifts in attendee behavior, the landscape continues to evolve. ?
