Diamond in the Rough

Have you ever found yourself waiting for everything to be perfect before moving forward? After sitting with numerous people I can say that you are not alone. Yes, even I want everything to be at its best before moving forward then one day I was talking with a client and this statement came out of my mouth: “Perfection without the process is unrealistic. It is in the pain of the process that creates the capacity and wherewithal to hold onto the promise to fulfill your purpose.” In other words, a piece of coal must endure extreme temperatures and intense pressure before transforming into a diamond. Being found in its raw state, the diamond is put through a process of being cut, faceted and polished before being put on display.
