dHealth: the Cloud is Critical

One very sunny morning last week, Dr. Shez Partovi, Worldwide Leader of Healthcare, Life Sciences and Genomics for AWS, hosted Tel Aviv representatives of some of the most influential health and life sciences investments funds - Orbimed, Triventures, aMoon, Longliv Ventures. Mostly via illuminating case studies of AWS customers, Shez reminded us of the role Cloud services are playing in the evolving scene of clinical trials, data sharing, high-performance computation and dHealth web services in general. Indeed, all ventures run sooner or later into the critical role web services are bound to play in their journey - and a strong willing and able partner can make a huge difference.
