Through PT Sokonindo Automobile, DFSK launched car assembly plant in Modern Industrial Estate Cikande, Serang, Banten, Indonesia.

This top notch modern plant is built on 20 hectares of land, probably the most advanced in term of technology, with a production capacity of up to 50,000 units per year and million dollar investment which has been disbursed to $ 150 million, and would be upgraded to $ 300 million to build an engine plant.

The construction of the plant was completed in May 2017, and the production process undertaken inside the factory includes stamping, welding, painting, assembling, and quality control. The construction of the plant is designed to produce high quality models, ranging from SUV, MPV or light commercial. So it looks like matter of time for DFSK, which started from light commercial vehicles first in Indonesia then bring other great weapon to penetrate market in Indonesia including its iconic Glory 580 in near future as Glory 580 already make great debut in GIIAS 2017.

PT Sokonindo Automobile is a joint venture manufacturing company between Sokon Group Company Limited from Hongkong, with PT Kaisar Motorindo Industri from Indonesia. Where previously Sokon Group has established a partnership with Dongfeng Motor Corporation China's state-owned automotive producer and markets DFSK branded products.
