DfMA(y): Timber, and more...

DfMAy 2022 – First free conference held by Ergodomus about DfMA

Design for Manufacture and Assembly is an innovative approach that has been driving our work since the firm started in 2007 but received a proper name only a few years ago.

It aims to identify, quantify and reduce waste and inefficiency in a product design. Particularly for us, timber engineers, it also means adding a new layer to value engineering in order to de-risk the investment.

As you can see DfMA is a crucial tool for our daily work and therefore we believed it deserved to be discussed properly. We hosted for this reason the DfMAy conference on the 26th of May virtually.

Our international guests at the DfMAy conference in 2022

We had 5 amazing international guests from all over the world that gave us their views and experience with DfMA and an overview of their innovative works and methods.
