DF driers - driers that dry

Drying silos are not Drying silos - this client in Central Queensland has recently realised that at best they are ventilated - having the new Alvan Blanch DF22000 drying system installed and commissioned he is now able to dry the same amount of sorghum in 10 hours as it took in a week in the "drying silos".

Ventilated silos will reduce moisture over a long period, and create a decent environment for crops, however if the farm yields are high, and the weather is closing in you need to be able to get the crop off and secure - this is what Alvan Blanch DF drying systems do.

Corn growers in the Northern Victoria / Southern NSW regions are regularly frustrated at harvest time as they cannot get the field moisture to drop to allow them to harvest, an DF drying system would allow them to harvest at higher moisture, capturing an early market possibly, and clearing a paddock.

Recently we had a customer from West Australia visit the factory in Chelworth, Tom & Victoria Brown from Hillplains (about 100km north east of Esperance) spent an informative few hours meeting the team and looking at where the new MDF25000 was made for them a few weeks ago.

We will host another farming family in a few weeks from nr Jeramungup, last month we Dan Coulthard from Peechelba VIC called in on a whistlestop European tour, and Shane Gale from Grain Producers SA also spent a few hours with the Alvan Blanch team looking at how they are growing the production of the DF drying systems.
