The month of March has seen a string of activities for the Dextrans Worldwide Group, completing various shipments from different offices within the group.
Dextrans Indonesia continued with the delivery of 2 units of transformer weighing 89 tons and 118 tons from the factory to Tanjung Priok Port for loading onto the breakbulk vessel. Handling shipment of transformers has been a core activity for Dextrans Indonesia after successive deliveries galvanizing Dextrans expertise in handling delicate cargoes.
In the same month, Dextrans Philippines completed a large shipment of machines to a factory located in Bacolod, Philippines. Total volume of 64 x 40hc & 11 x 40 flat rack with oversize cargo measuring L 7m x W 6m x H 3.5m. The project required two weeks to complete to facilitate the staggered delivery requested by a client. The shipment arrived at Cebu port, the main port at the adjacent island, and had to be transported by LCT to Bacolod port before proceeding by land to the factory.
Capping off the month of March saw Dextrans China handling shipments from Qingdao Port to Bilbao, Spain, involving 33 pieces of flange measuring 8.5m in diameter and weighing 46.5 tons each. The total volume for this shipment is 1700 cubic meters involving end-to-end delivery covering customs clearance, part chartering of a vessel, and deliveries to the factory in Spain, which manufactures wind energy equipment.
