What is Pioneers?

Codacy Pioneers is a Fellowship Program for Open-Source Creators.

If you're involved in creating, maintaining, or contributing to any open-source project you're proud of, we'd love to hear from you!

Meet the Mentors

Mentorship is at the heart of our Pioneers fellowship. We believe that having an experienced and nurturing expert in your corner is the key to fostering personal and professional growth.

We also couldn't be more proud of the roster of mentors we've put together:?

• Christoph Nakazawa is the CEO of Nakazawa Tech KK and creator of popular open-source tools, including Jest, Metro, Yarn, and MooTools. His mentorship will focus on how to successfully build open-source communities.
• Johannes Schickling is the founder of Prisma and will be sharing his expertise in the realm of local-first software.
• Ruth Ikegah is a GitHub rock star and Community Lead at CHAOSS. Her experiences with funding and community building will be invaluable to our fellows.
• Yuxi You is the creator of the JavaScript framework Vue. He'll mentor our Pioneers about how to successfully scale open-source projects.
• ??? Jér?me Petazzoni co-founded Enix and was a notable Docker, Inc contributor. His mentorship will focus on the importance of non-code contributions in OSS.

Other Benefits of the Program

Not only will Pioneers receive mentorship from these incredibly talented and knowledgeable open-source experts, they'll also get:

Publicity: Codacy will create a video series about the fellowship to highlight the amazing work of the winners.

Free Tools: As long as projects are active, you will have free access to Codacy's tool stack.

A Monthly Stipend: Each fellow will receive $500/month for a full year to support their project.
