DevOps Engineer! #hiring

We are a technology company and we work with open source software. We are looking for DevOps engineers who are familiar with tools and environments like Docker, AWS Cloud, Linux, Ansible, MySQL, MongoDB, RabbitMQ/Redis, Hadoop, Cloud hosting, Kubernetes, and more.

Tasks

• Working closely with the international development teams of Abstract Technology
• Support the complete software delivery process from concept to installation
• Provide support to resolve production incidents
• Set up and development of deployment pipelines (with Gitlab CI, Github Actions)
• Development and operation of modern logging and monitoring solutions
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, troubleshooting and debugging.
• Migration of existing applications to cloud-based architectures
• Follow emerging technologies

Qualifications

• Interest in working with containers and their orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker, etc)
• Very good knowledge of scripting languages/basics in programming (Bash, Shell, Python) as well as experience in working with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Hetzner Cloud etc.)
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible / Puppet) is a plus
• Understanding and experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Gitlab CI, Github Actions, Jenkins
• Willingness to learn new topics
• Very good knowledge of English (knowledge of German and/or Italian is an advantage)

How we work

• We work with GitHub, GiLab, Jira, Slack, Taiga, G Suite?
• Minimum 2 Year of experience as an Ops or DevOps Engineer? (Work experience of 2 years as a Back-end developer for Django – Python is an advantage)
• Comfortable in working with infrastructure tools such as Ansible
• Familiar with the basics of the Linux command line and system administration
• All the projects are connected with e-learning?
• Position: Remotely Full-time, Permanent. Available Office hours Monday to Friday (European time)
