In previous article on what's DevOps and how to measure success of DevOps practices in the organization and/ or for a dev team with the help of DORA metrics.

In this write-up , the focus will be on DevOps and DevSecOps, similarities and difference among them.

DevOps (blend of development and operations) and DevSecOps (development, security, and operations) are both development practices that aim to improve the efficiency and quality of software development.?The term DevOps came first and then other terms like DevSecOps, MLOps, AIOps were introduced.

DevOps focuses on collaboration between development and operations teams to optimize the software development process, while DevSecOps extends that collaboration to include security teams to integrate security into the development process from the start.?
