DevEx OR DevX?

Improving software development has been a longstanding goal since Ada Lovelace's creation of the first computer algorithm. Recognizing the significance of optimizing the way development teams work led to the creation of Developer Experience (DevX), a specialized function that aims to enhance software development tools, processes, and methodologies.

Input Output Global (IOG)’s DevX Engineers work closely with developers to streamline continuous integration (CI) processes, assess current practices, identify obstacles, and promote best practices that enhance software quality and delivery. DevX Engineers take a thoughtful and individualized approach to each development team, and by doing so, they help developers work more effectively, ultimately leading to better software outcomes.

We are seeking talented professionals with experience in software engineering and expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, Haskell, Rust, or Scala development, and experience with the tooling stack around these languages is highly valued.

Experience with NixOS and an SRE/DevOps background is a great additional skill set that can be leveraged in this role.
