The Development of a NFC Mobile Application for JUTC

In light of my previous post Managing JUTC Public Wifi, I felt some youthful exuberance to go back in the archives of related projects to show the history I have with transportation, digital transformation, and JUTC. Perhaps the universe is trying to assign me some hidden duty. It's quite ironic that 4 years before, my college friends and I won an award for our dissertation on the applications of NFC technology for JUTC. The idea was to create a system to reduce pilferage in the cash payment system that is still being used in the company and how to reduce time wasted operating the smartercard system that they had in place. The project itself was quite the experience where we had to do extensive research, coding, and interview key stakeholders in the company's operations to try to pinpoint the best solution. We wanted to publish the project but that never happened so perhaps I can share an old story with you here. :)
