Development of localised Community Childcare Workers curriculum and Case Management Training Modules for stakeholders

The purpose of the assignment was to have in place a harmonised and standardised case management practice for the care and protection of children that facilitates access to social welfare, social protection, and justice and health services. The project was conducted through capacity gaps and training needs assessment, conducting a mapping of case management initiatives in Zimbabwe in focus on capacity building initiatives (content, target audience, modality, reach, etc). Training curricula were designed in response to the gaps identified during the assessment as well as evidence-based guidance for curriculum development. The training was designed for diverse stakeholders at all levels i.e a) Community Childcare Workers (including members of the CPCs), b) District level workforce (including all members of the DCPCs, c) Provincial Level workforce (including all members of the PCPCs) and d) national level staff.
