The development of "Basic Income" - Positive controversy that will change the world for the better

There seems to be a new solution in development that could change the world forever.. And for the better too... It is called Basic income which will eradicate the necessity for the benefit system and potentially the crisis of the minimum wage. I heard about it in an article in the Telegraph and was definitely in favour of the change. To hear that everyone could receive £576 a month after tax without having to commit to any work commitments is controversial yet could solve many problems. The main one will be poverty. If you can't live a basic lifestyle off £570 a month then you're not putting that money to good use. The government are hoping that it will reduce unemployment statistics by allowing the financial incentive to help individuals get back into work either part or full time. I don't know about you but I would like a top up on that 570 a month and the solution to that will be part time or full time work. Part time workers can enjoy a far more comfortable yet proportionate work life balance whilst full time workers can use that 570 as an extra cushion to living a far more enjoyable life. Maybe a holiday or wedding? Who knows..

It will cause controversy yet I think if it has some measures in place to support and strengthen the campaign for basic income then it COULD become successful. Like what you ask? Maybe part time work such as 10-12 hours a week is mandatory in order to back up the unemployment statistics. Or maybe migrants are required to be given the necessary work skills in order to fixate them into one workplace. Its far better to teach someone how to catch fish then simply giving them the fish as it were! Immigrants should receive the same but there must be some form of regulated requirements. For example it can be quite shocking that many of them can receive a well paying job within the UK which entitles them to live far more better than actually many Brits but yet cannot pronounce any singular word within the English dictionary. There is no disputing hard work when it is due especially if they have the skills and work ethic which fills the void within our own economy.

However it is vitally important to have the communicatuon skills in order to create the final puzzle piece to complete a job where other individuals are concerned. Highly skilled professions where you may need to work in varying teams such as the healthcare sector must address this.

I think it is a great idea overall and the government need to pull their ears out of their arses to get this into action as soon as possible. Lets see this happen in 2016!
