If the United States truly seeks to become an Air, Space, and Cyber (ASC) Nation, we must introduce, inspire, and develop the critical people, thinking, and technical skills in our children at a very early age. There are many outstanding STEM curriculums available that focus on aerospace and cyberspace career awareness and skill development that can be used in our classrooms. Many of these learning resources are available to our school districts for free or at a very low cost.
The Civil Air Patrol's "Aerospace Connections in Education (ACE)" Program is one such example.
"The free Aerospace Connections in Education (ACE) program is a fun, interactive aerospace/STEM program for CAP educator members who teach grades K-6. A CE is designed to engage and inspire early-aged youth toward an interest in aviation, space, and other STEM-related careers."
