1.?????What is your role at TKG and what does that involve?

a.?????Manager BD & Digital

i.????Leading the great team that develops TKG Sales Channels (TFS Dealer System, Online Channels) and CRM

ii.????Transformation / Digitalisation of sales process for new and existing customers

iii.????In-house consultant for new business projects, product development and cooperations

iv.????Developing people (Trainee programs, students) to become long term member of the Toyota Family


2.?????What has been the most rewarding experience you've had at TKG?

a.?????Having the space, freedom and trust from the company to develop new ways of selling and building for the future

b.?????As pioneer for many Digital topics: Presenting our great achievements to the global Toyota community in Global Transformation meetings

c.?????Building great relationships with our partners, dealers and vendor companies

d.?????Helping Kinto Germany starting a new business from scratch with initially on boarding some of the key functions and setting up the new products based on the successful TKG products


3.?????How has working at TKG helped you develop as an individual?

With the Toyota way of working, TKG has changed the approach to develop new initiatives. Projects are discussed and aligned in detail before start of development. After all the long coordination, the implementation of a project is then extremely fast. This has changed my way of working considerably.

And for sure: I've met many great people in Germany and all over the world.


4.?????What have been some of your biggest challenges and successes while working at TKG?

a.?????Digital transformation projects (E-Signature, Online Leasing): Strong regulation, limited options, but with our deep partnership to legal & compliance departments: We together found great solutions for our dealers and customers

b.?????The crisis 2008/2009 with big impact on car values. And: Fukushima 2011 was shock to everyone with direct impact on our local business. => Toyota has quickly set the right course in every respect

c.?????Covid 2020: Changed our way of working for a long time (even if today most of the people in our team prefer coming back to the office on most of the days)

?

5.?????Describe the culture and environment that you’ve experienced while working here?

TKG is a medium sized company with flat hierarchies, broad responsibilities and fast decisions embedded in a very international big corporation with an own company culture. As TKG, we are a bank, but our job is 100% car related.


6.?????How does collaboration help get things done faster and better for our customers and business?

Each of our projects has lots of interfaces to other departments and various topics. It is our strength to align on ways to go. That’s why we have implemented SCRUM to implement projects more quickly and with strong communication in the teams.

7.?????How has being part of Toyota Financial Services/ Toyota Kreditbank GmbH made you more confident in yourself as an individual?

The company's confidence in my competencies automatically leads to more self-confidence.

a.?????Make use of the freedom and ownership you will get. Learn fast, fail fast.
